Dual Citizen – Close to Home, Armenians in NZ – 2018.

In 2017 I was approached by an artist and friend, Tipare with an idea for a collaborative exhibition themed: Dual Citizen. Under this umbrella I have come up with a concept titled: Close to Home, Armenians in New Zealand. I document and explore Armenian Community, their activities and what it is that makes them so close to their heritage. The idea was to both educate the wider public on who the Armenians are and to deepen my own understanding of my culture and identity.

Made possible with the support of Waitematā Local Board – Auckland Council Waitematā Local BoardThe exhibition included photography and video installation. Photographs of the Opening night by: Rohan Fletcher.
